2 Corinthians 4:1-6

2 Corinthians 4:1-6

2 Corinthians 4:1-6

Therefore, having this ministry by the mercy of God, we do not lose heart. But we have renounced disgraceful, underhanded ways. We refuse to practice cunning or to tamper with God's word, but by the open statement of the truth we would commend ourselves to everyone's conscience in the sight of God. And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. For what we proclaim is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

The Way, The Truth, and The Life does not need to be sugarcoated or toned down. Our love is shown in the fact that we are sharing life with others. The enemy has blinded unbelievers from seeing God's grace and His light, but we intercede on behalf of those individuals to have their eyes opened, and their hearts softened to the only true Savior. God's light is in you, so shine bright, share the gospel with boldness, and pray for loved ones on your heart - family, friends, classmates, coworkers, etc. that they could receive the gift of salvation.

Romans 10:14-17

14 How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? 15 And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” 16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed what he has heard from us?” 17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.

Prayer for this week:

Dear Lord, thank you for intentionally selecting the people around me. I declare that You would open the eyes and soften the heart of (name who's on your heart). I pray for an extra cup of boldness to shine the light You've filled me with, and that over time, it would bring You glory Lord.  I love You for who You are and what You've done, and I am eternally grateful. In Your name, Amen.

Song for the week:
