Ephesians 1:3-10

Ephesians 1:3-10

Ephesians 1:3-10

3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. 4 For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love 5 he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will— 6 to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. 7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace 8 that he lavished on us. With all wisdom and understanding, 9 he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, 10 to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment—to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ.

You are chosen. You are set apart. You are a child of God. You are so loved by your Heavenly Father that He predestined your salvation, to be reconciled to Him through Jesus. Because you have been chosen by God, walk in expectancy in your faith and choose to receive every spiritual blessing in order to bring Him glory and expand His kingdom. It's amazing that we have a God that loves us so dearly - to set us apart before the foundations of the world were laid, to bless with every spiritual gift, to die on a cross for our sins so that we could be seen as holy and blameless. Continuously receive His grace, and His blessing that He desires to give you and return to Him the burdens He took off your shoulders when He died on the cross for you.

Biblical Prayer to bless your week:

Psalms 37:3-4

"Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness. Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart."

Prayer for this week:

Dear Lord, thank you that you chose me before the foundations of the world were made. I'm grateful that you fervently desire a relationship with me. Help me to come with expectancy for what you are able to do through me. I receive the heavenly blessings that you've given me, and with them, I choose to make your name known. Please help me to walk in a way that represents how You see me and to repent when I fall short. Jesus, I love You for who You are and what You've done, and I am eternally grateful. In Your name, Amen.
