Genesis 50:20

Genesis 50:20

Genesis 50:20

"You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives."

In this verse, Joseph speaks to his brothers who had once betrayed him and sold him into slavery. Despite their evil intentions, God used their actions for a greater purpose - to save many lives during a time of famine. Just like Joseph, we may face difficult circumstances or people who intend to harm us. However, we can trust that God is always working behind the scenes, using even the darkest situations for our good and His glory. Instead of harboring bitterness or seeking revenge towards those who have wronged us, let us choose to trust in God's sovereignty and believe that He can turn any situation around for good. Let us also extend grace and forgiveness to others, knowing that God can use even the most painful experiences to bring about redemption and healing.

Romans 8:28

"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."

Prayer for this week:

Dear Lord, thank You for Your Provision & Your good intentions. I know that no matter the circumstance, You will see me through it. I will have faith in You, and not do things in my own strength. Please keep my heart focused on You through Your provision, because Your presence is my greatest gift. You have for me. I love You for who You are and what You've done, and I am eternally grateful. In Jesus name, Amen.
