Hebrews 10:19-27

Hebrews 10:19-27

"19 Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, 20 by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body, 21 and since we have a great priest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. 26 If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, 27 but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God."

"The Most Holy Place". Jesus died for us to enter The MOST Holy Place. Sometimes on our faith journey, we as Christians have a tendency to put a limiter on God in our own lives, but God desires to give us the most, and the best. We can go away from God when things get difficult in an attempt to do things in our own strength instead of leaning into what God has for us, with big faith. He will keep His promises and not leave nor forsake us. Think back on how He's been a faithful God in your life - through moments, through people, through worship, etc. and continue to build that trust in God. Don't rather, fall into a cycle of turning to your own ways when you understand the access you have to a loving God who would die for you - TRULY repent and draw near.

Biblical Prayer to bless your week:

Psalms 18:2

“The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”

Prayer for this week:

Dear Lord, thank you for loving me enough to give me unlimited access to you. I submit to accepting your way is better for my life than my own. Remind me of how you've been faithful in my life when I forget so I may build trust in You. Open my eyes to show me those I can encourage to trust You as well. Lord, thank you for letting me grow in my relationship with you. I praise You because of who You are. You are The Most Holy. In Jesus name, Amen.
