Leviticus 20:26

Leviticus 20:26

Leviticus 20:26

26 "You shall be holy to me, for I the Lord am holy and have separated you from the peoples, that you should be mine."

God has emphasized here that we are called to be set apart from the world and to reflect His holiness and honor Him in all that we do. Do we make intentional choices daily to avoid sin and pursue righteousness in our actions, words, and even our thoughts? The Lord knows our hearts, so if we truly strive to be holy as God is holy, we are fulfilling our purpose and bringing glory to Him in our lives.

1 Peter 1:14-16

14 "As obedient children, do not be conformed to the passions of your former ignorance, 15 but as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, 16 since it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.”"

Prayer for this week:

Dear Lord, thank You for Your Holiness. Thank You for Your goodness and mercy. I will intentionally pursue holiness to reflect You as best I can. Thank you for knowing me before the foundations of the world were made and setting me apart for Your glory. Please guide my steps and guide my heart to the path You have for me. I love You for who You are and what You've done, and I am eternally grateful. In Jesus name, Amen.
