James 4:7-8

James 4:7-8

James 4:7-8

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you.”

What area of your life isn’t submitted to God yet? When we lay it all down for God, the enemy loses any and all power, and we give God room to come in and change our lives. Embrace His loving kindness and grace and step into your God given purpose. When you begin to spend more time with your creator, you learn more about who you truly are. Don't live for the world or for yourself - because there truly is something greater for you. It’s time to Live for Him.

Biblical Prayer to bless your week:

"9 ...We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, 10 so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, 11 being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, 12 and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light."

Prayer for this week:

Dear Lord, today I submit the areas of my life that I find difficult to let go of (specifically name them). I understand that you have a greater purpose for my life as my creator and I have faith that you will not leave me nor forsake me as I walk with you. I'm grateful that when I continuously seek you with all of my heart, you will not disappoint me. Please overflow my cup, so that I may pour into others this week and share your goodness with them. Open my eyes and ears to see and hear you more clearly. I love you, Lord. In Jesus name, Amen.

Song for the week:
