Psalms 18:6

Psalms 18:6

Psalms 18:6

"In my distress I called to the Lord;
    I cried to my God for help.
From his temple he heard my voice;
    my cry came before him, into his ears."

In seasons of storms and heartache, it can seem like our God is distant and not moved by our situations - but our God is near, and He hears you.

God hears you.

Not only does He hear you, but He cares for you and is interceding on your behalf (Romans 8:34). We don't serve a God who looks down on us in disappointment and shame, but a God who came down to Earth and died on a cross WHILE we were still sinners. In seasons of distress, don't lean on your own strength, but call out to God and walk with Faith because God has proven Himself faithful.

1 John 5:15

"And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him."

Prayer for this week:

Dear Lord, thank you for Your presence and closeness. Thank you that I don't have to go through turbulent seasons alone, but I can cry out to You and You will hear me. I rebuke the lies that I am alone, and that You are disappointed in me. I know You will never leave nor forsake me, and that You are with me in my storms.  I love You for who You are and what You've done, and I am eternally grateful. In Jesus name, Amen.
