Romans 5:17-21

Romans 5:17-21

Romans 5:17-21

17 For if, by the trespass of the one man(Adam), death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ! 18 Consequently, just as one trespass resulted in condemnation for all people, so also one righteous act resulted in justification and life for all people. 19 For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous. 20 The law was brought in so that the trespass might increase. But where sin increased, grace increased all the more, 21 so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Our actions cause ripple effects, good and bad. All it took was one man to bring sin into the world for all people, and all it took was one righteous man to defeat sin and the death, and give the opportunity for life for all people. Don't hold back, don't be afraid, go cause a righteous ripple. Our world is full of negative ripples, and God calls each of us, filled with the Holy Spirit, to share the gospel boldly. As sin increases, God's grace abounds, and our faith(ACTION) needs to increase as well.

Biblical Prayer to bless your week:

Psalms 25:4-5

Show me your ways, LORD, teach me your paths. 5 Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long."

Prayer for this week:

Dear Lord, thank you that through one man you were able to take away the sins of the world. Thank you that your grace abounds, and that it's enough to cover my worst sins. I pray for an extra portion of boldness this week to create positive ripples that would expand Your kingdom. Jesus, I love You for who Your are and what You've done and I am eternally grateful. In Your name, Amen.

Song for the week:
